On 20 August in Lviv, on Lypynskoho Street, a Chevrolet Aveo caught fire while in motion. The report of the fire reached the rescuers at 12:47.
According to preliminary information, the fire broke out in the car’s engine compartment. Drivers who witnessed the incident stopped and tried to extinguish the flames with fire extinguishers before the firefighters arrived.
The blaze was fully brought under control by the rescuers: it was contained at 12:54 and extinguished at 12:57. The car was saved, and no one was injured as a result of the incident.
