Three people were injured in a road traffic collision that occurred on 27 July at around 18:00 in the village of Volytsia in Lviv district.
According to preliminary police information, a 36-year-old district resident, while driving an Audi A4, lost control and the vehicle went into a roadside ditch.
As a result of the collision, the driver and two passengers in the car sustained bodily injuries – residents of Lviv district aged 20 and 28. All the injured were taken to hospital.
Investigators from Police Station No.2 of Lviv District Police Department No.1 have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of road traffic safety rules. The article provides for a penalty of up to three years’ restriction of liberty with disqualification from driving for up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
