Over the past 24 hours, 27 fires have been recorded in the territory of the Lviv region, 13 of which broke out in ecosystems. Firefighters managed to prevent three buildings and a car from being destroyed by the flames.
According to available information, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness. Firefighters are urging residents not to burn dry grass, leaves or rubbish, not to leave open flames unattended and to follow fire safety rules.
The service stresses that it is much easier to prevent a fire than to deal with its consequences, so citizens are asked to act responsibly when using fire.
