Stradch Resident Injured in Grass Fire

The incident occurred in the village of Stradch, where burning dry grass had dangerous consequences for a local resident. In the evening, at 21:35, firefighters received a report about a fire that had spread over an area of approximately 300 sq. m. While attending to the scene, firefighters discovered a man with burns on his lower limbs. He was urgently taken to the ambulance and later to the hospital, as reported on Facebook.

The fire was localised 20 minutes after the firefighters’ arrival, at 21:55, and was fully extinguished by 22:08. The State Emergency Service urges citizens to refrain from burning vegetation, as it can lead to large-scale fires and pose risks to the health and safety of people.
