On 2 September in Drohobych some consumers will be left without centralised water supply due to scheduled repair works on the networks. This was reported by the municipal enterprise “Drohobychvodokanal”.
From 06:00 to 24:00 the water supply will be completely cut off on Lesi Ukrainky, Ivana Franka, Tarasa Shevchenka, Sichovykh Striltsiv, Lysenka, Chmoly, Stusa streets, as well as on the adjacent streets.
For other customers who receive water from the Uryzke water intake, during this period the water supply will be provided with reduced pressure in the network.
After the repairs are completed and the pumping station is restarted, a temporary deterioration in water quality is possible: increased turbidity and a higher chlorine content. Utility workers advise that after the water supply is restored, you open the tap and let a small amount run off, and in the first few hours do not drink such water unboiled, using only boiled water.
