For 20 August, meteorologists are warning of hazardous weather conditions across Lviv region. In the morning and during the day, south-westerly wind gusts of 15–20 m/s are expected, with thunderstorms possible in some areas.
In Lviv, during this period, an increase in south-westerly wind to 15–20 m/s and thunderstorm activity are also forecast. A Level I weather warning, yellow, has been issued for the region.
Residents of the region are advised to exercise caution when outdoors and to avoid staying close to trees, advertising structures and power lines during periods of strong winds.
