On 22 August, meteorologists are forecasting hazardous weather phenomena across Lviv region. Thunderstorms are expected throughout the day, and hail will be possible in places during the afternoon.
According to meteorologists, in the morning and during the day north-westerly wind gusts will reach 15–20 m/s, which may make weather conditions more difficult.
In Lviv, a thunderstorm and gusty north-westerly wind of up to 15–20 m/s are also forecast for 22 August.
A Level I weather warning, yellow, has been issued for the region and the city. Residents are advised to exercise caution when outdoors, avoid old trees and advertising structures, and not to park cars beneath them.
