In January-September this year, these industries transferred UAH 2.7 billion and UAH 2.3 billion to the budget, respectively, which is more than 28% of the total amount of personal income tax in the region. This was announced by Ivan Sobko, Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
He also noted that the Information and Telecommunications industry continues to show the largest increase in tax payments, with a 94% increase compared to the same period last year. The overall growth in the region was 24%.
Agriculture, forestry, construction, the financial sector, insurance, as well as public, religious and trade union organisations showed a significant increase of more than 30%.
“All industries in the region demonstrated positive dynamics in the payment of personal income tax, but the smallest increase (less than 10%) was observed in the mining industry and the supply of electricity, gas and steam,” Ivan Sobko summed up.
