
The Lviv Regional State Administration has approved the medium-term public investment plan for Lviv region for 2027–2029. The document sets out the approach to planning and using funds that will be directed towards development projects in the region.
According to the Department of Economic Policy of the Lviv Regional State Administration, 11 priority sectors have been identified for the region. These include healthcare, education and science, transport, municipal infrastructure and other areas that are important for the economic and social development of Lviv region.
First Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Andrii Hodyk stressed that the plan was drawn up taking into account the proposals of the administration’s structural units and the current challenges facing the region.
«In line with the proposals of the Regional State Administration’s structural units and taking into account the challenges currently facing the region, we are approving a medium-term public investment plan for 2027–2029. Its development is based on a clear definition of priorities and cause-and-effect relationships, particularly in terms of energy efficiency and energy consumption. It is important that every investment is clearly planned and genuinely strengthens the region,» said Andrii Hodyk.
The plan outlines how the region will further plan and use budgetary resources for public investments. The document is intended to ensure a more efficient allocation of funds, increase transparency in their use and focus financing on the programmes and projects that are key to the development of Lviv region.
