The Latvian company Fortes has delivered an innovative cogeneration facility to the Lviv region, which will help businesses maintain productivity.
Its capacity is 450 kW of electrical energy and about 600 kW of thermal energy. This allows for the uninterrupted operation of the enterprise “Halytska Svizyna”. Excess heat is efficiently used for heating and hot water supply. The main advantage of the technology is that the cost of electricity is 40% lower than the market price.
The cost of the facility is 300,000 euros. The business applied for a loan from “Oschadbank,” covering 25% with its own funds. A delegation led by the Minister of Climate and Energy of the Republic of Latvia, Kaspars Melnis, participated in the launch. “I thank Latvia for standing with Ukraine not only in words but also in such concrete actions,” the statement said.
Special recognition goes to the founder of “Halytska Svizyna,” Taras Lysyi, as an example of Ukrainian family business. “Not many people donate to our army as generously as Taras,” the text emphasized.
