Lviv Oblast approved the first agglomeration strategy in Ukraine

Where to start, where to move and what are the prospects for work in the agricultural sector for veterans: this was discussed on November 22 at the informational and motivational event, which became the 3rd one for war veterans undergoing rehabilitation at the DNP “Center for Complex Rehabilitation “Halichyna”.

The event began with the speech of Tetyana Volkova, the idea inspirer, organizer and head of the “Phoenix” NGO, who discussed with the participants the steps that must be taken to start one’s own business and get a new one, as well as ways to find opportunities to implement one’s own ideas. She also told why the topic of agriculture is currently relevant for veterans and introduced further speakers and experts of this market.

Nataliya Tabinska, founder of the Agricultural Advisory Center “Farmer’s Country”, presented the center’s activities, among which support for initiatives to create own production is important. The defenders were told about the training conducted by the center, about communication with manufacturers who are ready to become mentors and help implement their own business. Producers of the “Farmer’s Family” cooperative came to the meeting to personally familiarize themselves with their products. Veterans were able to assess the quality of craft products immediately at the event.

Oksana Mulyk, deputy director of the department of agro-industrial development of Lviv OVA, told where you can get funds for your own business. The veterans learned about the possibilities of attracting financial resources from budgets of all levels and from international technical assistance projects for those who want to work and develop in the agricultural sector.

The chief technologist of the “Family Dairy Farms” project told the veterans about the “Family Dairy Farms” project, how to organize dairy production, turn their initiative into profit and get support in creating a family business.

After the practical seminar, veterans and speakers had the opportunity to spend time in friendly communication. We listened to Ukrainian songs performed by a vocal-instrumental group from the USA invited to the event, tasted bogracham according to the signature recipe of the event’s partner – Ioann Yanchyshyn. This time, another partner joined the event – “Fuditsina” – a medical catering company – a leader among Ukrainian companies in the field of medical nutrition for patients, which provided a comprehensive dinner for all event participants.

“The veterans had a good time, learned a lot of new information, got to know people who are ready to help implement their ideas and had a rest. We hope that many of them will be able to open their own business in the agricultural sector or realize themselves in this field,” said Oksana Mulyk.

The organizer of a number of events was the NGO “Fenix.UA”. The event was held with the support of the Lviv OVA: in particular, the Department of Capital Construction of the Lviv Regional State Administration and the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration, and among its permanent partners, as always, the companies: “Biscotti”, “Drukarka”, “Your Accountant”, “Foundation for the Development of Ukrainian Entrepreneurship” , DayByDay Fund, NGO “Entrepreneurial Club” and others.
