Deputy Mayor Mykola Mysak reported on the fuel situation in Chervonohrad

Rising fuel prices, restrictions on its sale, queues at gas stations – such a picture can be observed today throughout Ukraine. Is the city ready for this test, how is it possible to ensure the functioning of critical infrastructure and the operation of passenger transport?

According to Mykola Mysak, Deputy Mayor of Chervonohrad, since the imposition of martial law and the beginning of the war, the City Council has been in constant contact with the main operators in the city’s fuel market (WOG, OKKO, UKRNAFTA) and plans its activities accordingly. To date, all critical infrastructure facilities and those that have entered into agreements with fuel suppliers are provided with sufficient quantities. For them, the cost of the SOE is UAH 40 66 kopecks, A-95 – UAH 36 05 kopecks. In addition, Pulse and Mustang fuels are on sale, its price is slightly higher – SOEs cost UAH 42.69 per liter, A-95 – UAH 37.85.

The work of urban passenger transport is also provided. However, certain problems are created by queues at gas stations, which can affect compliance with bus schedules. This problem is national. At the government level, it is planned to stabilize it within a week. Therefore, everyone who uses private transport should be understanding of this, if possible to refrain from unnecessary travel, so as not to create unnecessary queues and give the opportunity to refuel the car to those who need it first.
