Queues at the border: situation at crossing points in Lviv region

Significant queues of cars and buses are being recorded on the Ukrainian-Polish border for both entry into and exit from Ukraine. The heaviest traffic is currently observed at the crossing points «Rava-Ruska» and «Krakivets».

As of now, the following are waiting to enter Ukraine: at the Rava-Ruska crossing point – 20 cars, at Hruszów – 7 buses, at Krakivets – 120 cars and 16 buses, at Shehyni – 70 cars and 15 buses, at Nyzhankovychi – 10 cars.

The crossing points «Uhryniv», Hruszów and Smilnytsia remain less congested for entry into Ukraine.

For exit from Ukraine, a build-up of cars has been recorded: at the Uhryniv crossing point – 20 cars, at Krakivets – 15 cars, at Shehyni – 10 cars, and at Nyzhankovychi – 10 cars. No queues of cars are being observed at the other crossing points.

For bus services leaving Ukraine, the following are waiting: at the Krakivets crossing point – 6 buses, at Smilnytsia – 8 buses, at Nyzhankovychi – 4 buses.

Border guards advise, where possible, choosing less congested routes for crossing the border and planning journeys for early morning or late evening hours. Up-to-date information on the level of congestion at crossing points can be monitored on the Facebook pages of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment.
