Hydrological Assessment of Rivers in the Lviv Region for March 8, 2026

As of 08:00 on March 8, 2026, a hydrological assessment was conducted on the rivers of the Lviv region. Over the past day, a decrease in water levels from 1 to 9 cm was recorded. In the regions of WP River Western Bug near the city of Kamianka-Buzka, River Solokiya near the city of Sheptytsky, and River Styr near the village of Shchurovychi, water remained on the floodplain with thicknesses of 45 cm, 8 cm, and 11 cm, respectively. The forecast for hydrological changes on the rivers of the Lviv region indicates that further decreases in water levels are expected over the next day. At the same time, water in some rivers of the Western Bug basin and in the upper reaches of the River Styr will continue to remain on the floodplains.
