In the Lviv region, 64 grass fires have been recorded in the past day. These figures often go unnoticed, but behind each one lies a boundary that divides life into ‘before’ and ‘after’.
During this time, over 6 hectares of land have turned to ash. Fire does not stop at fences; it does not distinguish between dry grass and your home or yourself. One careless move with matches can cost health or even life.
Are you sure you won’t be the next in this dreadful statistic? Stop playing with fire and tempting fate. Setting fire to dry grass is punishable by law:
- for citizens, a fine from 3,060 UAH to 6,120 UAH;
- for officials, from 15,300 UAH to 21,420 UAH.
Stop while there’s still something to save. Do not burn dry grass!
