In Lviv, from 24 October to 3 November, a section of Staroznesenska Street will be closed to traffic. The restriction will apply to the stretch from the turn into Zaklynskykh Street to building No. 70, where work will be carried out to connect the sewer network.
According to the Lychakiv District Administration, for the duration of the closure a diversion route for private vehicles will be organised via Pochaivska Street. Public transport does not operate along this section, so the changes concern only drivers of private cars.
Access to Staroznesenska and Balkova Streets during the works will be possible specifically from Pochaivska Street. White-and-red barriers and road signs have been installed on site, including a diversion direction sign and a warning about roadworks.
The district administration notes that if the sewer connection is completed more quickly, traffic along the street will be restored earlier than planned, and once the works are finished the contractor must fully reinstate the area’s amenities. Drivers are asked to take the temporary restrictions into account and plan alternative routes in advance.
