Lviv region is set to experience a sudden deterioration in weather conditions. According to the Lviv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology, thunderstorms are forecasted for 12th May, with wind gusts reaching speeds of 17 to 22 m/s during the day. Hail is possible with a diameter ranging from 6 to 19 mm.
The Radechiv City Council has issued a weather warning, highlighting potential dangers. Specialists also caution that there is predominantly a high (4th class) and in some areas an exceptional (5th class) level of fire risk in the region from 12th to 14th May, excluding the mountainous areas.
