Lviv is preparing for unusual weather conditions. On Friday, 8th May, a thunderstorm and strong winds with speeds of 15-20 m/s are expected. The city authorities recommend that residents take the forecast into account and adhere to safety measures.
The City Council reminds residents of the rules to follow during a thunderstorm: close windows and doors at home; switch off electrical appliances, as they can attract lightning. While outdoors, it is advised not to shelter under trees or use umbrellas.
