Dublyany: rescuers extinguished the fire in the apartment
On November 24, at 11:07 a.m., rescuers received a report of a fire in the city of Dublyany, Lviv district, on Shevchenko St., on the 7th floor in one of the apartments of a nine-story residential building.
As reported in the Lviv City Council, a man jumped out of the window during the fire. The victim was taken to the Hospital of St. Panteleimon with the diagnosis: spine fracture, rupture of the spleen, closed craniocerebral injury. Doctors provide the man with all the necessary help.
Fire and rescue units were dispatched to the scene. When firefighters arrived at the scene, thick black smoke was billowing out of the apartment window.
With the help of a rescue device, firefighters saved one person. Also, emergency workers brought 4 people from the upper floors, who were filled with smoke, to fresh air.
At 11:43 the fire was localized and at 11:50 it was extinguished. As a result of the incident, one person was injured and hospitalized.
The fire destroyed household items on an area of 20 square meters, one entrance and one interior door, one window, damaged the walls and ceiling on an area of 70 square meters, and the entrance door of a neighboring apartment.
22 rescuers and 4 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The cause of ignition is established.
