Ukrainians who are forced to flee the war to safer regions of the country are gradually recovering from their experiences and thinking about their future in Ukraine. Some migrants go abroad, others find work in communities where they have been granted shelter.
In particular, about 200 IDPs live in Zashkov, all in the private sector. For many of them, this community is only a temporary resting place to move on. There are also those who plan to return to their hometowns after the victory.
“Mrs. Marina and her 4-year-old son came to Zashkov from Irpen. The woman’s husband is at war. In Zashkov, she has been working as the head of the post office for several weeks. Due to the war, this position in the community was vacant. The former headmistress went abroad with her children during the war.
In Dubliany, one of the IDPs got a job at a branch of Nova Poshta, and two others work as couriers in the Glovo delivery service. The men came from Mariupol and Sumy. There are similar stories in most communities, “said the department of the city agglomeration of LMR.
