The Drohobych municipal territorial community is continuing to implement a social support programme for veterans, which provides reimbursement of the cost of services for organising family holidays for war veterans and their family members.
According to Drohobych City Council, in August 2026, UAH 460,000 was allocated from the city budget for this programme. A total of 61 veterans’ families took advantage of the opportunity for recuperation and rest.
Since the programme was launched, 203 families have already received this service, for a total of UAH 1.52 million. Compensation is provided to combatants, participants in the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation (ATO/JFO), persons with disabilities as a result of war, and their family members who are registered and reside in the Drohobych municipal territorial community.
Applications to take part in the programme are still being accepted. For more detailed information, residents are advised to contact the Social Protection Department of Drohobych City Council at the following addresses: Drohobych, Rynok Square, 1, and Stebnyk, Mazepy Street. Opening hours of the Department: Monday–Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00, Friday from 08:00 to 15:45, without a lunch break.
