The Lviv region has updated the ranking of territorial communities as of February 1, 2026. The evaluation now is based on 50 indicators grouped into 7 key blocks such as finance, security, local tax administration, digitalization, economy, regional and spatial development, and social sphere. This approach allows for assessing a comprehensive picture of a community’s capacity.
A modern training and practice center was also opened in the Sheptytskyi district, specializing in construction engineering and automation. The center operates on the base of Chervonohrad Mining and Economic Professional College and is equipped with a unique 3D construction printer that uses a cement mixture. This is the only such device in educational institutions in the western part of Ukraine.
Moreover, the territory of the Pidberiztsi community saw the opening of a reconstructed kindergarten “Bilochka”. Its restoration began back in 2021 but was put on hold due to the start of the full-scale invasion.
Additionally, Lviv region plans to establish the first in Ukraine long-term care and rehabilitation hospital, a topic discussed during the Barrier-Free Council meeting chaired by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and First Lady Olena Zelenska.
