An important stage of the road reconstruction on Zalyznytska Street in Lviv will take place on 13th May. On this day, the new section of the water main will be connected to the existing water supply system. Due to this, water supply will be unavailable in the homes of residents of the Zalyznichnyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts from 09:00 to 22:00. Residents can use water trucks to replenish their water supplies.
Lvivvodokanal appeals to citizens to ensure a one-day water supply stock. Water trucks will be located at the following locations: 23 Br. Mikhnovskykh St; 50 O. Stepanivna St; corner of Zalyznytska-Yasna Streets; 26 Zolota St. Upon completion of the works, a temporary deterioration in water quality is possible due to flushing of the pipeline network.
The repair of Zalyznytska Street continues as part of a complete reconstruction that includes the replacement of utilities, the creation of cycle paths, and new parking spaces. The works are financed by loans, as the city’s budget funds are allocated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For the convenience of residents, cycle lanes and pedestrian crossings will be level with the pavements.
