In Lviv, the reconstruction of Zalyznychnaya Street is ongoing, known as one of the most hazardous streets in the city. Work is being conducted simultaneously on two sections: from the quasi-roundabout of Shevchenka Street to Yasna Street, and from Yasna Street to Storozhenka Street.
On the section from Shevchenka Street to Yasna Street, the installation of structural layers beneath the road surface is underway, alongside the construction of driveways to houses and future parking zones. On the section from Yasna Street to Storozhenka Street, water pipes are being laid and sewage collectors are being upgraded.
The carriageway and cycle lanes will be surfaced with asphalt concrete, while parking spaces will be paved with cobblestones. The pavements will be furnished with FEM tiles, and pedestrian crossings will be elevated to the level of the pavements for convenience. The repairs are funded by credit, as budgetary funds are allocated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
