The Sheptytskyi City Council has joined the top three local self-government bodies in Ukraine that simultaneously publish data on assets received as part of international technical assistance on both local and national open data portals.
This was reported at a working meeting by Deputy Mayor Marta Vashchuk, citing the results of monitoring by the Transparency International Ukraine “Transparent Cities” programme.
As part of the study, analysts examined 50 city councils and the Kyiv City State Administration. They assessed whether local self-government bodies publish datasets on international technical assistance, how promptly they update them, whether they are formatted correctly and whether they comply with the template of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
Following the review, properly formatted datasets on local open data portals were found in Bila Tserkva, Dnipro, Kropyvnytskyi, Poltava, Sheptytskyi and Kyiv.
The Sheptytskyi City Council, together with the Kropyvnytskyi City Council and the Kyiv City State Administration, publishes the relevant dataset both on the local open data portal and on the national portal, which has secured the community a place among the leaders in transparency in the field of international technical assistance.
