The Veteran’s One-Stop Window service has been launched at the Administrative Service Centre of the Ivano-Frankkove Settlement Council. It is designed to provide convenient and rapid access for male and female veterans and their family members to the administrative services they need.
The new service is part of the national veteran policy, aimed at improving the accessibility and quality of services for war veterans, families of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, both men and women, and other categories of persons defined by law.
The one-stop window operates on the principle that a person can receive advice and arrange all the necessary services in one place, without having to apply to several institutions. This simplifies procedures, reduces waiting times and makes the service experience more comfortable.
At the Administrative Service Centre of the Ivano-Frankkove Settlement Council, veterans and their families can:
- receive information and advisory services;
- submit documents to obtain administrative services related to the exercise of veterans’ rights;
- receive assistance and support in resolving issues that fall within the remit of local self-government bodies.
The Settlement Council stresses that the opening of the Veteran’s One-Stop Window is another step towards creating a barrier-free and convenient environment for those who have defended Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. The community’s goal is to ensure that every male and female veteran, and every family of Defenders, both men and women, can promptly receive the support they need without unnecessary bureaucracy.
The Ivano-Frankkove Settlement Council states that it will continue to introduce modern, people-centred approaches to the provision of administrative services, making them accessible and of high quality for community residents.
