During a session of the Sheptytska City Council, councillors adopted a decision to posthumously award the title of “Honorary Citizen of the Sheptytska Urban Territorial Community” to three defenders who fell in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The honours were conferred on Andrii Volodymyrovych Medved, Sergii Oleksandrovych Myroniuk and Vitalii Vadymovych Husaruk. By decision of the session, their contribution to the defence of Ukraine has been formally recognised at community level.
The community emphasises that the memory of the fallen soldiers and their bravery will remain with the Sheptytska community, and that the courage of the defenders serves as an example of service to Ukraine.
