In Sheptytskyi, the phased connection of residential buildings to the district heating system is ongoing. All schools and nursery schools in the city have been receiving heating since 1 November, reported the head of the municipal enterprise “Teploenerhomerezha” Stepan Dmukhovskyi.
According to him, the heat carrier will additionally be supplied to the buildings at 11, 13 and 19 Lvivska Street. The head of the municipal enterprise “Zhytlokomunservis” Yurii Kukoba noted that there are 296 buildings with district heating in the city, and as of 2 November, heating had already been supplied to 195 of them.
First Deputy Mayor Dmytro Balko explained that it will take approximately seven days to fully launch the heating system. Therefore, the connection of buildings will take place gradually, and heating will not appear in homes all at once.
At the same time, preparations are under way to open the swimming pool at the city “Sports Complex”. The director of the facility, Bohdan Lishchynskyi, reported that the water in the pool basin is currently being heated, and this process will take around ten days.
