On 21 July during the day, gusts of westerly wind of 15–20 m/s and local thunderstorms are expected across Lviv region. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology of Ukraine.
Due to the deterioration in weather conditions, residents of Lviv region are urged to observe safety measures.
Rescuers advise, where possible, not to remain outdoors during a thunderstorm and to avoid dangerous places.
- Do not stay near old trees, billboards or overhead power lines.
- Do not leave vehicles under trees or unstable structures.
- In the event of an emergency, call 101.
Residents are advised to take care in advance to ensure their own safety and that of their loved ones during severe weather.
