On 3 July, thunderstorms, hail and strengthening winds are expected across Lviv region. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre.
According to forecasters, thunderstorms are possible in places, daytime gusts of north-westerly wind will reach 15–20 m/s, and hailstones may have a diameter of 6–19 mm.
The bad weather may lead to falling trees and branches, damage to power lines, disruption to traffic and pose a threat to people’s lives and health.
During a thunderstorm, it is recommended, where possible, to stay indoors, not to shelter under isolated trees, to avoid advertising hoardings, power lines and other unstable structures, and also not to park cars under trees.
Specialists urge people to take care of themselves and their loved ones and to wait out the bad weather without putting lives at unnecessary risk.
