
On 1 September, thunderstorms are expected across the territory of Lviv region, with localised gusts of westerly wind of 15–20 m/s. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology of Ukraine.
Residents of the region are urged to exercise caution and follow safety rules during severe weather.
During a thunderstorm, it is not recommended to stay near trees, billboards, power lines or other unstable structures. Drivers are advised not to park their cars under trees or near objects that may be damaged by strong winds.
Where possible, it is advisable to remain indoors until the bad weather has passed. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, maintain a safe distance and be especially attentive on the roads.
