During the night and morning of 27 October, fog with visibility of 200–500 metres is expected in parts of Lviv region, including Lviv itself. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology of Ukraine.
Due to reduced visibility, rescuers are urging drivers to be cautious on the roads, observe a safe speed, increase the distance between vehicles and avoid sudden manoeuvres.
Pedestrians are advised to cross the road only at designated places and to use reflective elements on their clothing to be more visible to drivers in foggy weather.
