In Lviv region, a deterioration in weather conditions is expected by the end of 12 July: thunderstorms, squally winds and hail. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre.
According to meteorologists, within the next hour and persisting until the end of 12 July, thunderstorms are forecast in parts of the region, with squalls of 15–20 m/s and hail with a diameter of 6–19 mm.
Rescuers are urging residents of Lviv region to exercise caution and, during thunderstorms, to avoid staying under isolated trees, near billboards, power lines and other unstable structures, and, where possible, to remain indoors.
