In Lviv, gusty winds are forecast until the end of 29 May and during the day on 30 May, according to a warning from the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre.
According to meteorologists, north-westerly wind gusts of 15–20 m/s are expected. The City Council is urging Lviv residents to take these weather conditions into account when planning their activities.
The city’s Department for Civil Protection and Territorial Defence reminds residents that during strong winds it is necessary to avoid large trees, power lines, aerials, advertising hoardings and other massive structures, as they may be damaged and pose a danger to people nearby.
In the event of unforeseen situations, residents are asked to contact the city’s “Hotline” on 15–80.
