
In Sheptytsky, the distribution of insulin pumps and consumables for children with Type I diabetes has commenced. As reported by the senior nurse of the Central City Hospital’s polyclinic, Iryna Snezhko, parents are being acquainted with the contract and are receiving the equipment.
The lifespan of one pump is 4 years. Along with the device, families receive sets of consumables for 3 months, which will be distributed quarterly. In total, this medical equipment will be provided to 13 children.
Next week, parents will undergo the necessary training at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lviv.
