Opening of the Updated Pediatric Oncology Clinic in Lviv

The Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Clinic in Lviv has reopened after extensive renovations.

The clinic has renovated and equipped 8 oncology wards, a corridor, a play area, a parent room, two procedure rooms, a technical room, and a classroom. The total area of the updated space is about 400 m². **The renovation and updates cost over 8 million UAH.** The project was implemented through the combined efforts of local authorities, international institutions, and charitable organizations.

The funding was secured through the city budget, Tabletochki Charity Foundation, and the Wings of Hope Charity Foundation in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Lviv. *\”The opening of the updated Clinic enhances the institution’s ability to provide highly specialized care to children with cancer and continue the development of bone marrow transplantation. This project is not just about updating the facilities. It’s about providing treatment conditions that meet global standards, ensuring the safety and support of children and their families during the most challenging period of their lives. We are grateful to all partners and benefactors who helped make this space modern and functional,\”* stated the acting general director of the Center Bohdan Malovanyy.
