On Monday, March 9, the native community of Sheptytsky will honor the memory of Hero Oleksandr Pronin, who returns home “on a shield.” The meeting of the mourning cortege is planned for approximately 12:00. After this, a Requiem Mass and funeral service will be held at St. Barbara Church. The burial will take place at the cemetery in the village of Ostriv. We ask the community to meet the Hero and honorably accompany him on his final journey as he sacrificed his life for our independence and safety.
