
3 July 2026 has been declared a day of mourning in the territory of the Turkiv City Territorial Community for the fallen serviceman Ivan Dzhoga.
Senior Sergeant Dzhoga Ivan Anatoliiovych, born in 1982, a resident of the village of Rozluch in the Turkiv City Territorial Community, served as the commander of the checkpoint of a rifle platoon of a rifle company of the 3rd rifle battalion (for the protection and defence of important state facilities) of military unit 3002.
According to official information, the serviceman was killed on 7 November 2025 near the settlement of Balahan in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region as a result of munitions dropped from military drones. The document stresses that he remained faithful to his Military Oath of allegiance to the people of Ukraine and courageously fulfilled his military duty in the battle for Ukraine, its freedom and independence.
The order stipulates that on 3 July 2026 the community will ensure that the State Flag of Ukraine is flown at half-mast on the buildings of public authorities, enterprises, institutions and organisations as a sign of mourning for the fallen defender.
The Mayor of the Turkiv City Territorial Community, Yaroslav Parashchysh, has retained personal control over the implementation of the order.
