Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders 🕯️ Stepan Vavryn 🕯️ Stepan Vavryn A resident of Sambir. The soldier was killed on 8 March in the Pokrovske direction. He was a chemist driver of the radiation, chemical and biological defence unit of the 703rd separate brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 🕯️ Mykhailo Myakush 🕯️ Mykhailo Myakush A resident of Stebnyk. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in May 2024. He was a machine gunner in the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo. He died during a combat mission in Donetsk region. 🕯️ Yuriy Kisiv ‘Positive’ 🕯️ Yuriy Kisiv ‘Positive’ A resident of Stryi. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in January 2024. He was a senior sergeant, a rifleman of the air assault division of the 95th separate air assault brigade. He died on 26 February during a combat mission in the Kursk region. 🕯️ Ihor Volynets 🕯️ Ihor Volynets A native of the village of Lavrykiv, Lviv region. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend his homeland from the Russian invaders. At first, he served in the 138th Training Battalion, and later performed combat missions in the Pokrovske direction in the ranks of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade ‘Magura’. During the last period, he fought against the occupiers as a member of the 214th separate special battalion of the OPFOR. 🕯️ Serhiy Vysotskyi 🕯️ Serhiy Vysotskyi A resident of Lviv. From the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the 63rd Separate Mechanised Brigade of the 11th Army Corps of the Army. For personal courage and conscientious service, he was awarded a number of Honorary Badges of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He died on 6 March. 🕯️ Vasyl Markevych 🕯️ Vasyl Markevych A resident of the village of Terlo, Khyriv community. The soldier died on 7 March while in St Luke’s Hospital due to a massive heart attack. 🕯️ Vasyl Pikhotskyi 🕯️ Vasyl Pikhotskyi A resident of the Boryslav community. In May 2022, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served with the 115th separate mechanised brigade. He performed combat missions in the Kherson direction in the assault unit ‘Wild Duck’. The warrior’s heart stopped in the combat zone on 27 February near the village of Lyman, Donetsk region. Eternal memory to all the fallen Heroes! 🙏🏻 🕯️Василь Matsko 🕯️Василь Matsko A resident of the village of Zadebri, Ivano-Frankivsk community, Yavoriv district. He defended Ukraine as a member of the 67th separate mechanised brigade. He received a combat injury, after which he underwent rehabilitation. Unfortunately, due to his severe injury, he was unable to return to service. May the memory of the deceased be eternal захисникові🕊️
