Official Return of the Metropolitan Gardens in Lviv to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church
The Metropolitan Gardens in Lviv have been officially returned to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. This was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
Completion of Transfer Act
According to him, the act of transferring the Metropolitan Gardens and the building at 28 Lystopadovoho Chynu Street in Lviv was completed today.
Memorandum and Participants
This took place within the framework of a memorandum signed on March 5 by:
- Lviv Regional Administration
- Lviv City Council
- State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine Administration
- Broadcasting, Radiocommunications & Television Concern
- Curia of the Lviv Archdiocese of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church
“I thank the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, who initiated resolving this issue at the national level, and the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, for moderating the process. This is true restoration of historical justice. Thank you to everyone involved in finally making it happen,” said Maksym Kozytskyi.
