“Fire does not burn the fierce!” This was the slogan of the Oleksandr Shelest Path of the Unconquered training camp.
Indomitability is a necessary trait of every Ukrainian who is ready to embark on the path of state-building. Developing this character trait was the main goal of the camp participants.
The Path of the Unconquered is a training camp for young people who are ready to take responsibility and defend national values. For those who are not afraid of challenges and want to create the future, because it is the youth who will build the Ukrainian state and do everything for its successful functioning.
From July 13 to 19, the participants had the opportunity to spend 7 days in the Skole Beskydy, gain new knowledge and train their bodies and spirits.
The camp was organized into seven training blocks:
Physical block;
– Ideological block;
– Spiritual block;
– Communication block;
– Self-development block;
– Survival block;
– Military training block.
All blocks were successfully combined and complemented each other. Each day of the camp was filled with an interesting program aimed at developing the physical, moral and intellectual qualities of the participants.
Today’s world requires us to have certain knowledge and skills that may be needed at any time. Training in combat tactics, survival in the woods, unmanned aerial vehicles, communications, and tactical medicine were important components of the camp. Participants had the opportunity to discuss modern warfare, Ukrainian culture, the history of the nationalist movement, and other topics.
A special feature of the camp was the ascent of Mount Makivka, where the memory of all the fighters of the past and present who died for the Ukrainian state was honored. It was there that each of the participants was imbued with the spirit of heroism and learned what true defiance is.
“Recently, the camp has a dedication to our friend Shelest, who was involved in the creation of the camp every year, and when the invasion began, he gave his most valuable possessions for Ukraine. He became an example for us of unwavering values, activity and perseverance. These were the traits we fostered during the camp. An important part of the program was the daily minute of silence at 9:00 a.m. and the honoring of all those who died in the fight for Ukraine on Mount Makivka. We have to remember our heroes and skillfully continue their path,” said Kyryliv Uliana, the camp’s commandant and head of the Lviv branch of the ISC.
The camp was organized by the Lviv Oblast State Administration for Youth and Sports and the Youth Nationalist Congress.
