Manola Skobelska, a wrestler from the Lviv region, has secured a bronze medal at the U23 European Championship taking place in the city of Zrenjanin, Serbia. She has proudly represented Ukraine and the Lviv region in the freestyle wrestling competition.
In the decisive match for third place, the Lviv native defeated her opponent from Turkey with a score of 4-2. Competing in the under 68 kg weight category, Skobelska showcased her talent, overcoming opponents from Italy (6-0) and Romania (4-0).
This achievement confirms the strength of the Lviv wrestling school. “Manola’s medal is proof of the high calibre of our athletes on the international stage,” noted Roman Khimiak, head of the Youth and Sports Administration of Lviv Regional State Administration.
