In Lviv, for the first time in over a century, a ‘City Ball’ is being organized, reviving the tradition of charity evenings from the 1920s-30s.
The event not only recreates the atmosphere of interwar Lviv but also revives the living tradition of city unity. Waltzes, foxtrots, tangos, and other genres will sound like the living language of urban culture.
‘The event takes place within the framework of the participatory program MuMeet — an initiative that explores and reinterprets cultural heritage’, notes the Museum of the City.
The project is funded by the Foundation ‘Memory, Responsibility, and Future’. Support was provided by Ukrainian wine producer ‘Leleka’ and ‘Crimean Pastry’.
