On Kulparkivska Street, a drink-driving motorist caused a road accident

On Kulparkivska Street, a road traffic collision occurred involving a 50-year-old driver who, according to the patrol officers, was under the influence of alcohol and did not hold a valid licence to drive a car.

While speaking with the man, the officers observed signs of intoxication. A Drager breathalyser showed 1.86‰ of alcohol in his system.

The patrol officers established that this driver had previously been disqualified for driving while over the limit. The disqualification period had expired, but the man had not reinstated his driving entitlement, so he had no right to get behind the wheel.

Following completion of the paperwork, the man was issued with reports for causing the collision and for driving a vehicle while intoxicated, and was also served with a notice for driving without the right to do so.
