In Zolochiv district, a 17-year-old youth died while carrying out work in a furniture workshop. The incident occurred in one of the villages of the Krasne community.
According to preliminary information, the 17-year-old resident of the urban-type settlement of Krasne was pulled into a pressing machine while working in the company’s workshop. The boy died at the scene from his injuries.
Law enforcement officers are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident, as well as the persons responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational safety requirements at the enterprise.
Under the procedural guidance of the Zolochiv District Prosecutor’s Office, information about the incident has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 271 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of labour protection legislation, which resulted in the death of people.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by Police Department No. 2 of the Zolochiv District Police Division of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region.
