
In the village of Dunayev in the Lviv district, firefighters saved a residential house from significant fire damage this morning. The fire started at 07:00 in a wooden house, prompting the immediate dispatch of fire brigades from Pomoryany and Peremyshliany.
Upon the rescuers’ arrival, the fire had engulfed household items covering an area of 25 square metres and spread to the wooden ceiling, accompanied by heavy smoke. Thanks to the professional efforts of the rescuers, the spread of the fire was stopped and the house preserved.
The fire was contained by 08:07 and completely extinguished by 08:41. Seven rescuers and two units of special equipment were involved in the firefighting efforts. The causes of the fire are being determined. No casualties were reported.
