
In Pustomyty, a fire occurred in a wooden residential building, which was completely engulfed in flames. The incident happened on 28 April, when at 13:47 a report of the blaze was received by the Rescue Service. Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene of the incident, where dry grass covering an area of 100 m2 was also burning.
By approximately 14:42 the fire was localised, and by 14:52 it was completely extinguished. The extinguishing operation involved 12 rescuers and 4 units of specialised equipment.
Emergency Service specialists urge people not to burn dry grass and rubbish, as it can lead to significant fires capable of engulfing residential buildings. Follow fire safety rules, and in case of danger, be sure to call 101.
