A fire occurred in a flat of a two-storey residential building in Bibrka on National Revival Square. The incident happened on 8th April at 16:07, when the Rescue Service “101” received a report of the fire.
Upon the rescuers’ arrival, smoke was billowing from the flat’s window. During the inspection of the smoke-filled premises, the flat’s owner, a man born in 1982, was found. He was brought out into the fresh air and handed over to the medics.
The fire was localised at 16:16, and by 16:19, the burning of household items was extinguished. Three rescuers and one unit of special equipment from the State Emergency Service were involved in extinguishing the fire.
