In the village of Ditkivtsi in the Zolochiv district, a ginger cat fell into a deep well, from which it was rescued by emergency workers.
The incident occurred at 14:02 on 5 July. The owners heard meowing coming from the well and initially tried to pull the animal out themselves, but several attempts were unsuccessful, after which they contacted the Rescue Service.
On arrival, the emergency crew carefully lifted the cat from the approximately 10-metre-deep well. According to available information, the animal was not injured and soon was back in its owner’s arms.
