On Chornovola Avenue in Lviv, an underage motorcyclist was involved in a road traffic collision after crashing into a flowerbed that separates the traffic lanes. The incident was reported by the Patrol Police of the Lviv region.
According to the patrol officers, the rider, while travelling along the avenue, lost control, drove onto the central flowerbed and fell. The moment of the incident was captured by the City Security Centre cameras.
It was established that the motorcycle was being ridden by a 15-year-old boy who did not have any documents. The vehicle had no number plates.
The teenager’s mother was called to the scene. She was issued with a report under Part 3 of Article 184 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences — for an administrative offence committed by a minor aged between 14 and 16. The patrol officers also informed their colleagues from the juvenile prevention unit about the incident.
The police are urging parents to monitor their children’s leisure time and ensure that their activities are age-appropriate and safe.
